Every executive gets a second voice that has read every system the company runs.
Most leadership teams already own the data they need. It is spread across a CRM, a phone system, an accounting package, ad accounts and the website, and none of them agree. I architected a business enablement platform that joins them into one place where the leadership team can ask a question in plain English and get an answer with its sources shown. I deploy it as part of my fractional CTO engagements.
Four sentences every leadership team has said
“Marketing says 40 leads, sales says 12.”
Each system counts its own way, so every meeting starts by arguing about the number instead of deciding what to do about it.
“We spend on ads, but which ones actually closed?”
The click, the call, the deal and the invoice live in four systems nobody joins, so budget follows opinion.
“I asked for that report two weeks ago.”
Every cross-system question waits in a queue. By the time the answer lands, the decision was made without it.
“Why didn't anyone tell me that on Tuesday?”
A form stopped converting, a lead source went silent, a won deal never got invoiced. Monthly reporting finds it weeks late.
What changes on Monday morning
Seat
The question
With the platform
CEO
"Are we going to hit the quarter?"
A live period-end projection with early warnings, and a weekly review agenda prepared for you.
CMO
"Which channels produced revenue, not just leads?"
Attribution from first visit to invoice, by channel, with the cost beside it.
CFO
"Is anything we sold not being billed?"
Won deals reconciled to invoices continuously, with gaps and payment shortfalls raised as alerts.
CRO
"Which deals are stuck, and why?"
Stuck-deal patterns, a nightly-refreshed close forecast and follow-up radar.
COO
"Did something break today?"
Today compared against the hourly baseline, with conversion drops and silent sources flagged the same day.
CTO
"Can I trust these numbers?"
Every figure dated and drillable to its rows, one isolated database per business, every answer logged.
Where the value shows up
Recover revenue already earned
Closed-won deals that were never invoiced, payments that came in short, listings that were never published. Customers have recovered six figures this way.
Move spend to what works
When you can see which specific ad click resulted in a paid invoice months later, the marketing budget stops being an act of faith and starts being an investment engine.
Decide faster
A question that used to wait days in a queue is answered in the meeting where it is asked, with the evidence attached.
Catch problems the same day
Automated baseline monitoring finds when a form stops converting or a lead source goes quiet within hours. You stop finding out that a system broke three weeks ago when the month-end report arrives.
Who it fits
A strong fit
Mid-market companies selling through a website, a phone line and a sales team at the same time. Distributors, manufacturers, dealers and B2B commerce businesses. PE-backed companies that need board-ready numbers soon after an acquisition.
Signs you need it
Two executives quote different numbers for the same thing. Marketing budget is set by lead volume, not closed revenue. Every cross-system question needs a person or an agency. Problems surface at month end instead of the day they happen.
How it is deployed in a fractional engagement
The platform is not a separate software sale. It is part of how I run a fractional CTO engagement: it gives the leadership team shared numbers early, and gives me the evidence to set priorities.
Weeks 1 to 2
Connect and baseline
I connect the platform to your core systems (CRM, ERP, Ads). We establish the baseline numbers each department is currently reporting and find the discrepancies.
Weeks 3 to 4
First cross-source answers
The first automated projections go live. Leadership can ask questions like "Which specific ad campaigns produced actual revenue in the bank last month?" and get an immediate, sourced answer.
Month 2
Monitor and decide
We set up daily alerts for conversion drops and unbilled deals. The platform handles the weekly reporting prep, so leadership meetings start with decisions rather than data gathering.
Month 3 onward
Run the cadence
The platform is fully integrated into the management cadence. Priority is given to high-leverage infrastructure fixes identified by the platform's alerts and bottlenecks.
Questions leadership asks first
What if my systems are 'too messy' for a platform to fix?
Messy systems are the reason to build it. The platform doesn't fix your CRM; it allows you to define 'The Truth' in one database that ignores the mess while it pulls the signal.
How long does it take for my team to see value?
Two to four weeks to connect and baseline, with the first cross-source answers inside the first month. By month two, the platform is setting the agenda for your leadership meetings.
Do I have to migrate my data or change my software?
No. The platform connects to what you already run and keeps a mirror of the data it needs. Nothing is migrated off your CRM, accounting or ad accounts.
Is my data secure?
Each business has its own database, event stream and processing, never shared with another customer. Every answer and edit is logged, and the platform is built to SOC 2 and GDPR expectations.
How it is built
One analytics database, one event stream and one worker per business. Leaving is a matter of handing over a database.
Nothing co-mingled
Nothing is shared with another customer, and every answer and edit is logged.
The web never computes
Every figure is computed by a background worker and staged ahead of time, so a slow question can never slow a visitor.
Verified before generated
Human-verified queries answer first. Only on a miss does one general model write a read-only query, and every answer shows its sources, its query and a confidence.
Sharper with use
A thumbs-down goes to a reviewer and the correction becomes a verified answer for everyone. Answer quality is evaluated nightly.
Is the AI going to make up numbers?
It is built not to. Verified answers come first; when the model does write a query it runs read-only, shows the query and sources, and states its confidence. If it can't answer, it says so.
